Imagine being able to explore the outer recess of space and being able to land on the Moon, Mars, Jupiter and even Saturn and being able to communicate with those back home on Earth. Just think about the possibilities of learning about whether there are other types of life forces on these planets and in the solar system. What an endless amount of knowledge we could bring back about the rocks, minerals, chemicals and more to our labs here on Earth to help us generate power, electricity, solar power and even different sources to power a car without using gas or oil. Imagine creating and building a sailboat spaceship that could get you and an entire crew to Mars and beyond within a short time span. Well, don’t imagine this any more. Just read Solar Sea by David Summers and this and more about space and the possibility of newer, faster and more extensive space travel will be yours.

Aboard this amazing flight to the Moon, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn we find a group of scientists, astronauts, Nasa officer, Naval officers, biologists, linguists and more. We even have a extra added bonus added to the mystery of this flight and what the real purpose of it might be: Thomas Alonzo Quinn has set up a separate persona for himself unknown to anyone else, including his father the head of Quinn Corp, the company who is funding this trip into outer space. Thomas Quinn decided to build this spaceship when he was just a small child. His father, Jerome, never really took him seriously and never realized that he was the man who was in charge or the Pilot of this trip into space.

Nasa has been disbanded and humans have settled on the Moon. A technician from the Very Large Array, which is a radio telescope in New Mexico, makes a discovery that changes everything. He discovers powerful particles that are orbiting the planet Saturn’s moon, Titan. Hoping that this could be a new source of energy since oil has become practically non-existent on Earth, Quinn Corp decides to find out what is really there and more.

We all know that whales have their own distinct song. When this discovery about the particles orbiting Saturn is made, whales around the Earth change their songs overnight.

Assembling a group of the best and most knowledgeable scientists, biologists, linguists, astronauts and more Thomas Quinn constructs a solar sail spaceship to find these particles in Titan’s orbit. Jonathan Jefferson an astronaut who landed on Mars, Natalie Freeman a navy captain, Myra Lee, a biologist whose main specialty is understanding whale communications, her assistant Lisa, John O’Connell, the technician who first discovered the particles together make a tour of the solar system and what they find will forever change their lives.

Thomas Alonzo Quinn is the brain behind the voyage. His main concern is to find out more about the particles that he named Chrontons in order to learn what they could do for humankind. But, things do not go as he planned and the lives of many people are put at risk and the mission takes a turn at the end that keeps you wanting more. From extraterrestrial beings that can teach us a thing or two about space and its vast wonders, to being rescued by these aliens when the sail ship is inoperable David Lee Summers keeps the reader in suspense until you turn the last page.

Throughout the book Myra Lee and her assistant work to find out what the whales are saying and whom they are communicating with. You are going to have read this amazing and exciting novel to find out the answers. Does she find out what the whales are saying? What significance does that have on the outcome of the voyage and the aliens that they meet? What is Thomas Quinn’s fate and what lessons can we learn from the aliens in this book and more?

This book gets Five Gold Stars and Five BRAND NEW ARISTACHUS TO sail on more voyages.
